How do I use my laptop hardware on my desktop?
I have a new windows 7 laptop Newish It's a couple years old by now and an old win XP desktop Really, really fucking old that I got from a family friend. The desktop, again, is windows XP. It's in pretty good shape, the family friend got it from the tech company he works at, which was going to throw it away. It's comparable in specs to the laptop, except for RAM and the graphics card. The RAM, I can deal with. I don't need to play Skyrim on my laptop though I wanted to , but the graphics card on my desktop is incompatible with every game i've looked up. It's an intel chipset, from 2005.Is there a way to use my laptop's graphic card on my desktop? I've got the two connected with an ethernet cable, that's how I get internet on the PC bridging LAN and my laptop's wireless , so wiring the two together isn't a problem.I don't have any money whatsoever to buy a new graphics card, so that's simply not an option. Also, i'm not taking my laptop apart to get it. Just no.
Pro Tools SE not Finding Avid hardware?
Just bought an M Audio KeyRig49 that had Pro Tools SE included. I have installed every driver included and tried downloading one from the M Audio website. The program still says it can't detect any Avid hardware. Did anyone else have this problem? How can I get it to detect the keyboard?
